prepare their minds for what’s out there
If party ova here wasn’t so entertaining
They would focus
and open their minds to learning
Not the latest moves like the chicken head
But concern for what is being retained
in their heads
As I speak there is a missing party
Who is trying hard to get their party started
Mom Dad
you hear??.. .me needing you here
Or do you only hear some fool’s rap over a chilled beer?
Promising he
will make you feel good holding you near
But in that lasting embrace
Do you ever imagine my face
On the
other end of that ecstasy
Do you ever wonder whose holding me
Maybe not but it’s truly a Shakespearean tragedy..."
